AGSI+ Aggregated Gas Storage Inventory

GSE is pleased that its members have agreed on a voluntary basis to publish storage inventory as per member state, storage operator and storage site. This initiative will help provide the information the market needs to operate efficiently and effectively whilst protecting commercially sensitive information.

AGSI+ delivers online daily data representing approximately 76 BCM, i.e. 85 % of EU technical storage capacity. It shows for 31 storage operators in 15 member states volume in stock as well as the daily injection and withdrawal.

additional info NAM regarding Grijpskerk and Norg: Third party access services to storage facility Grijpskerk have been stopped since 1 April 2012. Storage facility Grijpskerk and NORD of NAM and PGI Alkmaar of TAQA form, together with the Groningen gas field, the so called 'Groningen System', a production facility. As a production facility, no access regime applies. Hence, Grijpskerk and Norg storage facilities are no longer part of the AGSI(+) data publication.

Details on the increase in technical capacity can be found in the GSE investment database.

REMIT - fundamental data reporting for storage
GIE has worked closely with ACER to develop the fundamental data reporting schemes, which are mandatory to use by Storage system operators, LNG System Operators and market participants.
In order to further facilitate this, Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) has registered as RRM (Registered Reporting Mechanism) with ARIS, the ACER REMIT Information System.

More information and ARIS XML fundamental data reporting schemes are available at www.gie.eu/REMIT

GSE - Gas Storage Europe

Gas Storage Europe (GSE) represents the interests of 31 Storage System Operators with around 101 storage sites in 16 countries in Europe, representing approximately 91 BCM, i.e. 84% of EU technical storage capacity.  GSE is one column of GIE, Gas Infrastructure Europe, the European association of the Transmission, Storage and LNG terminal Operators.

GSE is committed to improving the regulatory and investment framework for storage activities in order to help its members to continue providing secure, efficient and valuable storage services to the market.

AGSI+ delivers online daily data representing approximately 79 BCM, i.e. around 82 % of EU technical storage capacity. It shows for 31 storage operators in 15 member states volume in stock as well as the daily injection and withdrawal. In addition AGSI+ delivers weekly data for storages in Ukraine representing additional 32 BCM.
